The refinery located near Poti Sea Portwill consume the CPC Blend oil which is a light crude oil delivered from Western
Kazakhstan via the CPC pipeline to the Black Sea oil export terminal.
The Preliminary technical audit study of the refinery was completed in May 2018 by TR. Phasis Oil proceeded to gather additional data from DuPont, TR and other providers and licensors, which is an essential part of the detailed feasibility study, which has to be awarded to a new consultant.
This investment project is yet in its early development phase. Technical characteristics and performance indicators of the investment project could be subjected to modifications and revised data at a later stage once the Basic Design Engineering is performed by the licensors. This should be kept in mind especially considering the novel technologies utilized by the licensors.
